Twitter hails Rashid Khan for his brilliant performance against the West Indies

In the first ODI of Afganistan’s tour of West Indies, the tourers stunned the Carribean with a flabbergasting performance. The West Indians who were asked to bowl first restricted the so-called ‘minnows’ to a mere 212. Though it was an achievable target, with Rashid Khan rattling through the Carribean batting line-up, the hosts couldn’t make it.

Rashid Khan, this Afghanistani youngster has been in quite a bit of limelight in the recent times. He proved his skills playing for the Sunrisers too. This time, Rashid Khan made it to the record books by picking up seven wickets. Extraordinary bowling from Rashid got the hosts all-out for 149 while chasing Afghanistan’s 216.Hard work and self-belief, the two strengths of Afghanistan cricketers.

With Rashid Khan picking up seven wickets and giving away just 18 runs, he enters the record books for one of the best bowling performance in ODIs.

Rashid Khan now stands fourth for best figures in ODIs with this amazing display of bowling. The other three are Vaas (8/19), Afridi (7/12), and McGrath (7/15). Rashid is the first Afghani player to get into the list of best bowling performance. This young man has a lot more coming his way for the hard work he does and the skills he possesses.
