Barcelona have reportedly included AC Milan striker Rafael Leao on their target list as a potential replacement of injured Luis Suarez.
Leao displayed a dynamic performance when the Rossoneri registered a 2-0 win over Cagliari by scoring a goal in the second half to open the scoring.
After showing positive signs in the previous match against Sampdoria during a duet with Zlatan Ibrahimovic in attack, the Portugal international was a starter for the Milan trip to Sardegna.
Stefano Pioli’s new 4-4-2 formation seems to be centered on exposing the Leao-Ibrahimovic duo, but the former Lille star who was signed by the Italian giants last summer actually attracted the attention of other clubs.
According to news from Mundo Deportivo, Blaugrana is currently looking for a striker after learning that Suarez will be out for at least four months.
The outlet also claims there are many players who are being considered by Barcelona, including Gabigol from Inter Milan, Carlos Vela from Los Angeles FC, Donyel Malen from PSV Eindhoven, Victor Osimhen from Lille, and Ezequiel Avila from Osasuna.
However, in their target list there is also Leao, a player based on information from Corriere dello Sport, last October, called the Catalan giant’s big target.
Meanwhile, another Spanish news paper, Fichajes, also supports that the starlet is included in the four players targeted by the La Liga club.
