Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi says his teammates have indeed agreed to a salary cut of up to 70 percent. However, the Argentine claimed to be disappointed with the attitude of management.

Therefore, management is forced to cut the salaries of its players. Actually, Messi and his teammates do not mind that. However, they were disappointed with the attitude displayed by the Barcelona management.
“A lot of news has been written and said about Barcelona’s first team players in terms of cutting the salaries of players during this emergency period,” Messi wrote on his Instagram account.
Then, the Argentinean also clarified that the players will always be ready to cut salaries because they understand perfectly that this is an extraordinary situation. According to him, there is no need of any pressure from the Barcelona management.
“Therefore, it is not surprising to us that the club wants to put us back under a microscope and try to pressure us to do something we will always do,” Messi said.
“In fact, if the agreement has been delayed in the last few days, it is only because we found a formula to help the club and also our employees in such difficult times,” continued the winner of the Ballon d’Or six times.
