The newly built Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat is all set to replace iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground, MCG as the world’s largest cricket stadium in the world in terms of the seating capacity. It will be inaugurated on 24th February, although not by Donald Trump whom many believed would be doing the needful which turned out to be just a rumour.

Twitter and the entire social media is flooded with the pictures of beautiful & stunning looks of the stadium. In case you haven’t seen the stadium yet, let’s take a sneak peak to the stadium through various pictures or videos.

More than the stadium, this pic depicts the seating capacity which is supposed to be 1,10,000. Till now MCG has the seating capacity of 90,000 which is the highest number of persons a stadium can accommodate.

Even after the inauguration, the stadium will have to wait for around one year to host its first ever match as India is hosting England in a Day-Night Test match in January 2021 here going by BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly’s words.
