Sometimes people say that the heartfelt prayers will be acknowledged by the superpower (we term as God) and then the result will be on your front within a meantime. This is the case happened yesterday at Hyderabad with Ambani’s mother when her strong prayer let Mumbai Indians’ win the trophy out from the jaws of the defeat with a thrilling 1 run margin.
We have seen an elderly lady in the Mumbai Indians’ supporters crew offering her prayers sincerely to the one she believes without watching the match. The whole stadium are at the edge of the seat when Rising Pune Supergiant required 7 runs off 5 balls with Manoj Tiwary and Steven Smith is at the crease who showed a great form throughout the tourney.
However, the prayers of the old lady worked as Mumbai Indians’ eventually emerged out as winners by the least margin of 1 run. As soon as people saw the old lady praying for the Mumbai Indians’ victory people took to Twitter to convey their thankfulness for her prayers.
Abhishek Bachchan, the son of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan finally revealed the identity of the lady by replying to a query made by Buzzfeed India on Twitter. His tweet read that ”That is Mrs Ambani’s mother. Popularly referred to as “Nani”. The lucky charm.”
So, Ambani’s mother, nicknamed as Nani, the lucky charm stole the show for Mumbai Indians by her strong prayers in the one critical moment when it mattered the most. Subsequently, she played a 12th man role in marking Mumbai Indians name on the glorious IPL trophy.

Mumbai Indians’ official Twitter handle also took a moment to appreciate the prayers of the Nani that worked for the Mumbai glory. The tweet read that ”Certified Mumbai Indians fan and Mrs Nita Ambani’s mother, Purnimaben Dalal did all she could to bring the IPL trophy home” including a hashtag named ThankyouNani
