Finnish Premier League T20 : All you need to know about this tournament and how to win in fantasy

Cricket is back in some way or another as Finland has become the third associate country after Vanuatu and  Estonia to start their Domestic local competition Finnish Premier League T20 tournament which is bound to start from today. The first match will be played between Helsinki Cricket Club and Vantaa Cricket club and it will start at 08:30 PM IST.

The tournament is set to go off today after the Finland Government gave a green signal to athletes to resume outdoor training from 14th May amidst the lockdown imposed in the entire country due to COVID-19 scare.

Team Information

There will be a total of 8 teams which will be taking part in this competition. They are named as Bengal Tigers Cricket Club (BTCC Thundercats), Empire Cricket Club (Empire Lions), FPC Finnish Pakistani Club, Greater Helsinki Cricket Club (Greater Helsinki Markhors), GYM Helsinki Gymkhana, Helsinki Cricket Club, SKK Stadin ja Keravan Kriketti (SKK Rapids) and Vantaa Cricket Club.

The league will be played in Double round robin format, just like how the IPL is played where 8 teams will compete among each others in 60 matches for the ultimate title.

There will be only a couple of venues which will host the entire tournament. Kerava National Cricket ground will host a lot of group games along with the Playoff and the finals while Tikkurila Cricket ground will also host some group games.

Abdul-Ahad Qureshi : He averaged 36 with the Strike rate of 123 in last season.
Aniketh Pusthay : 408 runs at the strike are of 137 in last season.
Atif Rasheed : Strike rate of 153 in previous season, average also 33. He also took 10 wickets.
Ghulam Abbas Butt : Although his average in previous season was only 19, he scored at the strike rate of 171. He also picked up 26 wickets at an average of 11. He is a proper All- Rounder.
Faheem Nellancheri : Average of 19 but strike rate of 152.
Ekhpelwak Kuchey : His strike rate of 100 is pretty low but he averaged 31 in last season.
