Fans trolled RCB after Finch hit a 100 in 1st AUS vs IND ODI

India’s international cricket season post pandemic break began with a disappointment as the team suffered a 66 runs defeat to go 1-0 down in the series. The bowling turned out to be quite awful while the batting did show the right intent but it was too much to ask for from the batsmen to chase a score of 375.

Earlier in the morning, the Aussies got off to a great start which was later capitalized by Steve Smith as well but what generated the buzz on internet was Australian captain scoring a classic century and batting at his best. The inning came right after he had a torrid season for Royal Challengers Bangalore where he had only scored 268 runs in 12 matches with a solitary half century.

This gave cricket pundits a chance to make some jokes based on RCB misery. All of them felt bad for RCB after Finch came back into form right after the IPL. Here are some of the best reactions :

But it wasn’t just RCB who was trolled for Finch’s good performance. Glenn Maxwell, who failed to hit to hit a single six in the IPL hit 3 sixes and scored 45 runs in just 19 balls while Steve Smith, who didn’t have a great IPL either scored an unbelievable 100. Smith scored 105 runs in 66 balls and took the game away from India. After these two turned out for their national side after struggling in IPL, KXIP and RR were trolled along with RCB as well.
